A Journey into Movement, Anatomy, and Embodied Wisdom
What if the way back to yourself isn’t through more effort, but through listening?
We live in a culture that distrusts the body.
A culture that trades vitality for productivity, that rewards endurance over presence, and confuses control with strength.
Even in “wellness” spaces, the body is often treated as an object — something to correct, sculpt, or optimize.
But what if your body isn’t a problem to fix?
What if it’s a living intelligence — one that’s been speaking to you all along, in the only language it knows: sensation, rhythm, resistance, ache, pleasure?
This is the foundation of Sovereign Body Alchemy — a one-on-one exploration into the radical act of returning to your body as your primary source of information and power.

The Practice
This isn’t exercise, and it isn’t therapy.
It’s a practice of inquiry — physical, anatomical, and emotional — into how your body organizes, compensates, and heals.
We start where you are.
We look at how you breathe, how you stand, how you carry your history. We trace what hurts, what collapses, what holds. And then, with curiosity and precision, we build a new relationship with those places—one rooted in awareness, strength, and choice.
How we align the body, generate force, and coordinate muscular patterns directly influences whole-system function—shaping circulation, cardiac efficiency, immune response, and the way the fascial network transmits mechanical and sensory information throughout the body, beyond the nervous system alone.
This work is not about fixing or correcting the body. It is about learning how to listen, respond, and participate differently in your own structure and function.
Your ability to receive the magic of the body is directly connected to your ability to see it.

Who This Is For
You might be a mother, an artist, an academic, a midwife, a skeptic.
You’ve likely read the books, done the yoga, tried the methods — and still feel like something essential has been left out.
You’re not interested in discipline as punishment.
You’re interested in relationship as liberation.
You might live with pain or tension that feels more like information than dysfunction.
You might be postpartum, post-burnout, or just done outsourcing your intuition to authority figures.
You want to move and feel from the inside out — without dogma, without hierarchy, and without performance.
What happens in a typical first session: We start by establishing the reason you have come to see me whether it’s to work through an injury, gain more strength and integration or simply to feel more embodied. Then we talk through your history to make a map together of significant points in your life that brought you where you are right now. As we talk through this I will usually include some physical assessments particularly if there is injury in order to paint an anatomical picture of what’s going on.
After talking through the “why” and history, I share some reflections and ideas about how I will structure our work and what I see that are the significant physical, emotional and lifestyle components we can address. I share this as a reflection but also a check-in to make sure we are on the right track.
Next we delve into some sort of grounding which I pick for the person – meditation, movement, nervous system regulation or visualization.
Then dive into movement based on all we have done in the beginning: goals, history, assessment. I pick movements specifically for you and all I have gleaned so far. As we work through movements I am crafting the program I want you to practice outside of our sessions. This is a highly individualized process based on your lifestyle and demands on your time; your personality, preferences and learning-style and what you are aiming to achieve.
At the end of the session we do a recap of what we have done, and where we are going moving forward. I reflect back things I have heard you say that seemed significant – from anything you shared in your history to any movements that felt especially connecting for you. I explain what I would like you to work on between sessions and make sure you are scheduled for your next session.
The next day, I send a follow-up email with videos of any exercises, mediation, visualization or writing prompts which are part of your self practice.

Why It’s Different
Most fitness and rehab systems are built from the top down — expert to student, diagnosis to fix.
This work moves the other way: from the inside out.
It’s rooted in anatomy, yes — but also in consent, conversation, and deep respect for your lived experience.
Here, “strength” isn’t measured in repetitions or endurance.
It’s measured in responsiveness — in how fluidly your system can adapt, reorganize, and repair.

The Myth of One-Size-Fits-All
Most exercise methods are designed for scale, not truth.
They offer generic routines because nuance doesn’t sell.
But your body is specific.
Your story, your injuries, your birth history, your nervous system — all of it matters.
In Sovereign Body Alchemy, we uncover the precise movement language that your body speaks.
Nothing more, nothing less.
That precision — that honesty — is where transformation begins.

What This Work Gives Back
When you feel better in your body, you stop leaking energy into confusion and pain.
You start moving through your life with integrity — grounded, not striving.
This isn’t about transcendence.
It’s about remembering the intelligence that’s already there.
As your awareness refines, your movements become more efficient, your breath more organized, your nervous system more trustworthy.
The magic of the body is unlocked when you learn to see it.
This work doesn’t give you tools. It gives you back to yourself.

A Closing Thought
You don’t need another authority to tell you what’s right for your body.
You need someone who can help you see clearly, ask better questions, and translate what your tissues have been trying to say.
That’s what this work is.
Not a method, but a conversation.
Not a fix, but a return.
If you feel the resonance — if something in your body says yes —

Limited spaces available for Winter/Spring 2026.
